My first class of the year. Web animation. Really sweet kids, undergraduate students this time. We had great fun performing kneesurgery together and discussing Korean vs. English titles of Japanese Anime.
I am affraid I alienated them a little by choosing this animation as an example of vector animation. I found out later that they were so quiet afterwards because of the sexual content. I guess I have a natural talent for making a good first impression. Let's see how many of the 24 students come back.

It's Korean Independence Day! To celebrate my independence I bought a Korean mouse by the name of miniBeetle. It claims Mac compatibility. My Mac disagrees.
Thank goodness Panwest Technology for People has a website, with an English section! After having enjoyed the cartoon, I searched the site but couldn't really find anything pertaining to my problem. In fact, I seemed to have arrived at a selfdiagnosis site of sorts (Emotional Revolution! Have you ever been in a cold sweat to be late at meeting?) or maybe a new kind of online dating service (Call to look each other NOW!).
But then I located the section where "The task helping each other to be inconvenient point.". I sent them an email, can't wait to hear what they have to say.
