I really felt like spending last night writing about the taifun Maemi, but the connection was interrupted.
Wow. Big wind. I went back home at the first signs of storm, but although we were only 5 minutes from home the gusts got increasingly worse and had my colleagues not held me down, I might have flown all the way to Seoul or even Pyongyang (without a visa!).
I'm surprised the building is still standing. But today there are broken trucks, broken glas, broken cars, broken cranes everywhere.

One of my colleagues lost his glasses in the storm (Kim Jong Il might be wearing them now) and decided to go look for them (night, dark, Taiphoon, no glasses--look for glasses?).
More than 100 people dead/missing....
I should give him a call.....

I believe I need to start a special BLOG for this Pusan time of my life. Let's see if I have the time. Now I need to go see a chi-specialist.

I saw Lord of The Rings yesterday, part II. What can I say. Great use of CG. Heavy stuff that ring. I wonder if there is RA yet (rings anonymous).

My day was exciting as always, but the events (eating blowfish, the Pusan subway, the search for Russians....) was overshadowed by the sad news of Leni Riefenstahl's death.
I never got a chance to discuss with her the Penthesilea.
