Just as I was beginning to recover from my concussion ( it may have not been a fracture after all) and as I am starting to get used to the new tropical European climate, I made the decission to see Dancer in the Dark.
Let me just say: How bleak can a movie get? Quite good, I must say.

Anyway, whatever mental health I had been starting to regain, it's gone. Maybe tomorrow.

The closest description to what it feels like to have a screw drilled into your upper jaw, is maybe having a motorcycle stuck in your head for an hour. One of those that have trouble starting up, but that keep trying.

The motorcycle is gone. The exhaust lingers.

I am considering the possibility of a skull fracture.

And something else: Does anyone still worship the Ancient Greek Gods? If so, please contact me. Thanks!

Actually the SPD had a pretty good campaing going with those matchboxes last year.....
When you opened it, it contained a burnt, black match and it said:
Auch hier sind nur die roten zu gebrauchen.

That was funny, I thought. Those were free, by the way. Hint.

Stoiber was in town today.
Now here is something I noticed: The Green party was there as well. I went to the CSU stand and got a bunch of freebes and info material. Then I went to the Greens and reached for their brochure. They told me I needed to pay them 1. The green fortune cookies had no fortune. Stoiber had Bavarian music.
There were many people cheering Stoiber.
There were about three longhaired 16 year-olds standing by the Greens.
No further comment.

I am having FTP issues, so no surprise today....sorry.
But it's too hot anyway. And this country (Germany) is not set up to deal with this kind of heat.
It might be smart to invest in climate control companies, if there is such a thing. That's my market advice of the day.

And about the surprise: No, it's not a plan for solving the North-Korean problem. But check back tomorrow. You'll see.

I'm more and more in favour of letting dice make decisions for me. It normally doesn't make a difference to me anyway and I always have the initial 'rebelling against fate' reaction, which adds some spice to the whole affair. I certainly make sure to have a die near my computer.....
